E&M Engineering was founded in 1995 on the principle that "All Projects Deserve Quality Engineering" and that principle has expanded to include thoughtful sustainability. For this reason, a firm partner leads every project and a core team, with an average of 20 years experience, designs every project. The founding owner, Caryn Helhowski, President, heads up the Electrical team while Jon Helhowski leads the HVAC and Plumbing design.

E&M Engineering offers comprehensive HVAC, Electrical, Technology, Plumbing and Fire Protection services spanning from feasibility studies through start up and commissioning. We provide the personal touch of a smaller firm with the experience of a larger one.

We are currently licensed engineers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. Of importance to note, we are certified with the City of Philadelphia, the State of Delaware and the Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE), and are LEED Accredited Professionals with the US Green Building Council.
