   MEP/FP design for adaptive reuse of an Assisted Living facility into a Long Term Pediatric Nursing Care facility. The building is a 35,000 square foot, 2-story building. Estimated MEP/FP construction cost $1.2 million.

PROJECT IS ON HOLD UNTIL SPRING 2010 - Mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) and Electrical (power and lighting) Engineering Services for the expansion and renovation of Main Line Art Center Building and Ashbridge Park Historic Barn. Aid owner in submitting for Kresge Foundation grant for energy savings.

MOORESTOWN FRIENDS SCHOOL - GREENLEAF SOUTH ANNEX
Moorestown, NJ		  

PROJECT IS ON HOLD - Adaptive reuse of 2-story nursing home into classroom building, 14,000 SF. The owner desires a LEED certification for the building for which E&M will participate in a charette, provide basic energy modeling and compliance modeling and basic commissioning. Design includes the reuse of existing geothermal wells with new distribution equipment to suit the classrooms. The building is fully sprinklered and will be reworked for the new spaces. New electric service will be added to accommodate supplemental cooling system, as additional geothermal wells are not within the budget. The building will have all new energy efficient lighting, fire alarm system and power and data for classrooms. Toilet rooms will be reoriented for use of a classroom building.

Work is part of an overall $100M project including LEED Silver baggage claim building and expansion of concessions, food court, toilet rooms, USAirways Club, and central utilities plant.

   Electrical engineering for the bar rack replacement project. Work includes survey for demolition and power sources for replacement equipment including the screens, sluice gate actuator and lighting. All work within the bar rack room is to be Class 1, Division 1, Group D for explosive, hazardous locations.

Plymouth Meeting, PA		   HVAC, pluming, electrical and fire protection design for a new approximately 8,000 SF administration building. Design will also show two classrooms.

Renovation of 9,000 adult daycare facility. HVAC design for new equipment. Plumbing design for new fixtures and piping and redistribution of sprinklers. Electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm and emergency systems. Demolition drawings will be provided for removal of existing work.

   Electrical Engineering of a CCTV security system for Swenson Skill Center meeting current School District standards. Expansion of the existing 16 camera system. Swenson Skill Center is a 170,000 square foot, 2-story building used for vocational education including Automotive, Construction, Plumbing, Electrical, other trades and general education. Estimated construction cost is $350,000.

Electrical engineering for the renovation of 30-40 toilet rooms in the 111,000 square foot, 1-story building housing students with disabilities. Widener Memorial School is the premier site in Philadelphia for severely handicapped students. Electrically the work includes the addition of electric lifts, electrically operated changing tables, automatic door openers and improved exhaust for the toilet rooms. Fans will be operated by occupancy sensors. Most toilet rooms are private, being used by the student along with an aid.
