PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
New heating and cooling system
and fire protection system for the cathedral
style ornate sanctuary building.
A secondary project completed in 2007 consisted of implementation
of design concepts from a study for the replacement of boiler
from steam to hot water serving three buildings, and the addition
of re-heat coils for dehumidification of sanctuary building.
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
AHU in new basement space adjacent
to the sanctuary with ductwork run through crawl space.
HVAC designed to NC 20 for optimal use of new sound system and
organ. 175 ton air
cooled chiller located outside. Heating system converts existing
steam plant to heating hot
water and replacing existing heating system.
ELECTRICAL
SYSTEMS
New pad mounted transformer and
service for new chiller. Expansion of existing
electric service to feed new air handling unit and pumps. Expansion
of fire alarm system.
FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS
New fire service and fire pump to sprinkler the sanctuary building.
