PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing renovation 4,000 SF medical office into a
school for hearing impaired students and the addition of 9,000 SF of classroom and
support space. Addition of new fire protection sprinkler system.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
New hot water boilers, new air handling unit serving the first floor and one serving the basement.
Multiple hot water re-heat coils provide individual room control. Designed to low noise level to
ease in teaching the deaf.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
New underground electric service utility company pad mounted transformer. New fully indirect
lighting needed to ease teaching of the deaf without shadows. Tele/data distribution.

PLUMBING SYSTEMS
New water service, gas hot water heater and plumbing fixtures. Building is 100% sprinklered.
