PROJECT DESCRIPTION
20,000 SF new two-story art, music and science wing addition. Renovation of 9,000 SF from classrooms
relocated to the addition into offices and faculty support space. Renovation of cafeteria and expansion into
former art classroom with intent to create a more enjoyable environment.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Rooftop packaged unit with matching rooftop condensing unit. Gas modular boilers to provide heating
hot water. Ducted VAV with re-heat. Perimeter finned tube supplemental heating. Fully DDC.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
New utility company pad mounted transformer with 480-volt 1200-amp service to addition, and
backfeed of 600-amp and 400-amp to existing areas. Expansion of existing fire alarm, paging
and security systems. Energy efficient fluorescent pendant direct/indirect and indirect basket
lay-ins. Battery powered emergency lighting built into normal fixtures.

PLUMBING SYSTEMS
New 6" fire service for addition and to backfeed existing sprinkler system in gym. New 2 ½"
water service and gas service for the addition. Connection of plumbing fixtures by new
sewer connection at the street.
