Jon Helhowski, PE, LEED AP, a Principal at E&M Engineering, Inc., is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida and Maryland. Mr. Helhowski possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and has over 28 years of experience. Mr. Helhowski came to E&M with extensive experience in the research and development field, overseeing work at major pharmaceutical companies. He was formerly the HVAC department head at a large architectural engineering firm in Princeton, New Jersey.

Acting as the chief engineer, his responsibilities include project management, concept and detailed design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection, LEED commissioning, coordination and quality control as well as directing the entire engineering team.

Mr. Helhowski is experienced in HVAC design, ATC controls, plumbing and fire protection systems for institutional, healthcare, research and development facilities, industrial and commercial projects. Mr. Helhowski has vast experience in construction field supervision and related issues including troubleshooting HVAC installation problems.
