PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Feasibility study on existing MEP/FP systems followed by complete MEP/FP renovation
and upgrade with air conditioning of three-story, 16,000 SF Friedlander Hall dormitory
for visually impaired students.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Building ventilation, fan coil units for cooling and ceiling mounted HW radiant heating in
dorm rooms, air cooled chiller located adjacent to building.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
Rework existing 400 amp, 208/120 distribution with new main distribution panel and local floor
panels, new addressable ADA fire alarm system, data outlets throughout to facilitate learning.

PLUMBING SYSTEMS
New accessible shared toilet rooms and showers, common laundry room and 100% sprinklered.
