PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Complete renovation of old three-story library into new office and classroom space for
Office of Registrar and Student Unions.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Three (3) rooftop units, VAV, campus steam to hot water, 400-ton absorption
chiller oversized with 150-ton to service adjacent building.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
New outdoor pad mounted switch and pad mounted transformer connected to campus 4.
16KV dual feed loop, 30KW gas generator for lighting and incidentals, fire alarm,
Cat5 wiring with expansion from campus network, efficient lighting.

PLUMBING SYSTEMS
Three (3) floor stacked toilet rooms, water booster pump, fully sprinklered building.

OTHER PROJECTS AT THE UNIVERSITY
Boiler plant upgrades to provide new blow down station and drainage.
Bossart Hall - Rerouting existing underground steam piping and pumped condensate
that is in the way of other new construction.
Mansion Park Apartments - Replacement of existing electric baseboard and
electric hot water heating with new gas heating system using a combined boiler system for economy.
New library cooling upgrade, adding 150-tons of additional capacity to Savitz Hall, including
pumping and underground piping connecting back to new library.
